My story (so far...)

Daphne or Doodles as we call her.

Bio; written by her current owner

It absolutely breaks my heart to have to write this, but due to welcoming our first baby and him having allergic reactions. I'm looking for the perfect forever home for my beautiful Daphne

Daphne has been part of my family since she was just 8 weeks old. She arrived as the tiniest, shyest little kitten you could imagine, frightened of almost everything. Watching her grow into the beautiful cat she is today has been so rewarding. With lots of patience, love, cuddles and endless playtime, she’s blossomed into an affectionate, playful and confident little girl.

Daphne is still a gentle soul at heart. Loud noises can make her nervous, and when she’s feeling overwhelmed you’ll often find her tucked away in her cosy igloo or hiding under the sofa. On quieter days, though, her favourite place is stretched out in a sunny spot by the window, soaking up the sunshine and watching the world go by.

I truly believe Daphne would be happiest in a home with another friendly cat, as she loves having feline company. Dogs, however, aren’t for her, and she’d be much more relaxed in a home without them.

Daphne loves affection and enjoys curling up for cuddles, but she’s also wonderfully independent and will politely let you know when she’s had enough by simply wandering off. One thing that never changes is her love of treats! She has an incredible talent for sniffing them out and will gently bump her little head against your leg to let you know she’s hoping for a snack.

More than anything, I want Daphne to find a loving forever home where she’ll be given the patience, kindness and understanding she deserves. She has so much love to give, and although saying goodbye is heartbreaking, I know the right family will adore her just as much as I do.

*Please click to read about the stated age of our cats.

Cards on the table.

With kittens born recently at a shelter, in foster, or who are very young, we can tell their age within a few weeks, as they develop so rapidly. Sometimes we get adult cats whose previous owners know their age and that's great...but it's not the norm.

99% of the time, we have zero information about a cat, and their age can only be a "Best Guess" based on their condition, overall appearance, and the state of their teeth. We completely understand that you want this information, and since you will need a date of birth for insurance, so we will do our best. But it is generally only going to be an educated guess from our vets.

Could you be my forever human?

Thank you so much for reading my profile.

If you think you might be able to offer me my forever home, please fill out the adoption form and one of the Catitude Rescue team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Lots of love and head bunts,

Daphne
