I've got a new home!
From the previous chapter of my story...
Meet Archie and Harry, our adorable 8-week-old ginger ninja kittens, full of playful energy and nearly ready to find their forever home. These brothers are still learning to trust humans, but with time, patience, and love, they will blossom into wonderful companions.
Ophelia, their mum was a gentle soul who's only bad decision was to trust a human that abused her due to being an alcoholic and then disguarded her un neutered to fend for herself. Once Ophelia was trapped she went stright into foster just in the nick of time to have her baby beans Harry and Archie.
Sadly as Ophelia came in completly broken, terrified and scared she didnt want to put her trust in humans and the fosters had to go very slowly in not distressing Ophelia or her beans.
Ophelia had lost all trust and would hide when ever one of the fosters came in and would leave the babies. For this reason to begin with the least amount of interferance was given so Ophielia could feel safe to bring up her babies and she is doing a fantastic job, she a very good mummy.
Still now when Harry and Archie are handled Ophielia can still get somewhat distressed which in turn makes Harry and Archie not trust as much as they should.
Harry and Archie are in foster, where they’re enjoying playtime and snuggles once they have been caught! They love to run, jump, and play — and once caught, they’re all about cuddles and purring.
They’re currently a bit wary of humans due to Ophelia being wary, but they’re making great progress. They’re learning that humans are safe, and with gentle handling and patience, they will grow more confident.
These little beans are best suited to an adult-only home somewhere calm and quite, ideally with someone who works from home or has a few days at home each week. They need someone dedicated to helping them socialise and thrive, giving them the time and love they deserve. They do requie work but the outcome is defintly worthwile.
Rehoming as a pair is essential to give them the buddy system and support they need to feel secure and happy.
Harry and Archie will be ready to go when they are 11 weeks old, and they are eager for a forever family to help them flourish into the wonderful cats they are destined to be.
Could you be the person to give these sweet brothers the loving home they need?
