Hi, I’m Baloo!

I’m a handsome fluffy six-year-old boy, and through no fault of my own I’m currently looking for a new forever family to love. I’m a gentle soul, and I believe the right home will find me when the time is right.

I can be a little shy when we first meet, but once I feel safe and cozy, I really enjoy spending time with people and other animals. 

For the record, Chris the Web Guy took me to a vet appointment recently, and he fell absolutely head-over-heels with me within about 2 minutes. If he didn't already have the four members of the EssexNekoYakuza at home, I think he'd have catnapped me. 😉

I’m quite tolerant of young children, but I do prefer a calm, quiet environment where I can relax, get gentle strokes and cuddles, and nap in my favourite spot without any fuss.

Oh and I’m also quite the explorer! I enjoy hunting and wandering outdoors. I’ve grown up near open fields, so I’d love a peaceful home away from busy roads — my safety is super important to me.

Here’s what I’d really love in my new home:

• A quiet, peaceful place
• Rural or countryside, not near busy roads
• A home with good dog friends
• Friendly cats
• Humans over 10 years old

Of course you'll want to know that I’ve been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms. I come with a clean vet health check certificate and five weeks of free insurance. Go me!
