I've got a new home!

My name is Mickey and I now have a family who love me.

From the previous chapter of my story...

Well hello to you! Thanks for stopping by…

My name is Mickey and I’m a 1 year old tabby girl looking for a nice quite home where I can restart my life.

So far it’s not been exactly a breeze. I was found in a stable, abandoned and pregnant. (Chris our webmanager says I should actually be called Mary, because he thinks he is hilarious. I have told him to give it a rest. Anyway…)

The people who found me managed to gain my trust after a while, and I eventually gave birth to my kittens in the garden. They immediately took me and my litter in, and although they helped us all so very much, one poor little kitten sadly died. I think about my little lost bundle every day...

However, with the help of my fantastic rescuers, the rest grew up to be big and strong, and now they’ve gone off to their forever homes.

Now it’s my turn.

I’m quite timid and shy until I get to know you, so I’m looking for someone who has the patience to help me gain confidence and bond with them. Once I’m sure we’re a family, I promise I’ll be first in the queue for fuss! As a result of my start in life, I’m not a massive fan of being poked about or dealing with noise, so a home with young children wouldn’t be the best idea: I’d just get stressed out and hide. I do love my food and treats though (not many Dreamies in a shed after all!) so if you can sit quietly and let me come to you in my own time, we’ll be BFFs. Then you’ll get to hear me sing the song of my people! I have great singing voice – I’m Mickey and it’s so fine. (Yes, I did tell Chris that’s a niche joke and it dates him, but will he listen? No.)

Basically, I just need time and reassurance that the world is not a bad place.

Oh, and some housekeeping notes. I’m good with other cats. Not sure about dogs since I haven’t met one yet, but I’m sure we could get along as long as it isn’t a big shouty one. And I’m already spayed, vet checked, microchipped, I’ve had my first vaccination, and been tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Woohoo - go me!

So, if you have space in your home and your heart for a loving girl who really just wants to snuggle up once she knows she’s safe, we could make a great life together. Here’s hoping!

I got another chance!

Not every cat is so lucky.

Could you be another cat's forever human?

If you think you might be able to offer a cat a forever home, please fill out the adoption form and one of the Catitude Rescue team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you so much,

Lots of love and nose boops,

Mickey
