Rest in peace Stevie.

It’s with a very heavy heart that we let you all know that sadly Stevie lost his fight to cancer on Sunday 29 April 2026. He had started to deteriorate and go down hill so with vet advice the decision was made to put him to sleep.

Alison and Beryl had been caring for Stevie on palliative care for months, and let us tell you he certainly had the best care he could have asked for.

Stevie was found in a terrible state and was completely blind. God knows what this darling boy had suffered and endured but at the end he knew he was loved, adored and had a fabulous home with Alison and Beryl who completely doted on him. He wanted for nothing, living like the king he always should have been. He was showered with affection, kindness and completely spoiled rotten.

We are in awe of everything that Alison and Beryl did for Stevie, and as heartbreaking as it was held his little paw right until the very end and gave him the best goodbye he could have had. Stevie left this world at the end knowing he was loved and ultimately that’s what counts.

Stevie came along and put his paw prints on our hearts. As heartbroken as we are, he hasn’t really left us. He’s just changed address.

Our hearts go out to Alison and Beryl at this very sad time. From our hearts to yours thank you both so much for helping Stevie at his time of need. You are both incredible and truly wonderful ladies! We will never be able to repay you for what you did for this darling boy.

Fly high Stevie, rest now little one. You will be missed but will remain forever in our hearts
