Meet Leo: A Brave Little Soul in Need of Love
Leo is a stunning, gentle little boy who is just 3 years old. Despite his young age, he has faced more than his fair share of hardships. Abandoned and then sold on Gumtree, Leo's early life was filled with uncertainty and fear. When he arrived at our rescue, he was completely shut down and terrified—understandably, after everything he's been through.
But Leo is a fighter. With the love and patience of his wonderful foster family, he is beginning to blossom. He is gaining confidence, especially as he feels safe around other cats who provide him with comfort and companionship. Leo still has a long way to go, and he may sometimes give a little swipe or bite when overwhelmed—that's just his way of telling us he's reaching his limits. He’s learning to trust again, and with a gentle, understanding human by his side, he will continue to heal.
Leo deserves a home where he will be loved unconditionally, where his new family understands that broken can be fixed. He was born with hope, love, and the capacity for trust—things that have been sadly lost through neglect and abuse. All Leo needs is a very kind, patient human who will give him the time and space to learn that not all humans are the same, and that love is real.

With kittens born recently at a shelter, in foster, or who are very young, we can tell their age within a few weeks, as they develop so rapidly. Sometimes we get adult cats whose previous owners know their age and that's great...but it's not the norm.
99% of the time, we have zero information about a cat, and their age can only be a "Best Guess" based on their condition, overall appearance, and the state of their teeth. We completely understand that you want this information, and since you will need a date of birth for insurance, so we will do our best. But it is generally only going to be an educated guess from our vets.
