My story (so far...)

Tinkerbell and Oreo both five years of age and bonded came into our care after being left behind to fend for themselves when their owners moved house. Thankfully for Tinkerbell and Oreo kind neighbours kept them fed and set up outdoor houses for them to survive the elements.

Their feeders got in touch when they themselves were having to move out of the area, trying to find a rescue space for this poor pair. We managed to secure an emergency foster space for them where they have finally found a warm bed, food and all the love, cuddles and affection they could want.

Here is what their foster family have to say about them:

We have only had Tinkerbell and Oreo for a short period of time, but they have already adapted so well to living in a home, and their personalities are really shining through.

Tinkerbell is the little girl, mainly white. She was more reserved than Oreo when we first bought them in which was understandable after everything they have gone through. It didn’t take long for her to start showing us her true character. She is a lap cat, anytime a lap is available she is straight there, not just rolled up in a ball but spread out as long as she can. She makes us laugh each day with her lap laying antics. She gives little squeaky meows to let you know when she’s ready for some love and fuss. She’s the more confident of the pair with the sounds in a home. She’s absolutely devoted to Oreo, seeking him out for snuggles and washes. She loves to play and run around when she’s up for a play. She does have a watery eye which the vets have checked and are happy there is no underlying issues just an over production of tears which is common in cats and dogs that have white coats. She does allow you to wipe it with no problems. Tinkerbell absolutely loves her food and gets very happy around feeding time.

Looking for a home together, adult or children 14+ no other cats in the home and untested with dogs, but with nice slow introductions we don’t see why this would be a problem as long as the dog is nice and calm.

These gorgeous babies really are the sweetest of sweet cats and even after everything they have been thought only want endless love, affection and laps. They adore playing and are desperately hoping that there is a wonderful family that will give them both a second chance at a fabulous life. They will make the best companions.

Waiting for laps.........

*Please click to read about the stated age of our cats.

Cards on the table.

With kittens born recently at a shelter, in foster, or who are very young, we can tell their age within a few weeks, as they develop so rapidly. Sometimes we get adult cats whose previous owners know their age and that's great...but it's not the norm.

99% of the time, we have zero information about a cat, and their age can only be a "Best Guess" based on their condition, overall appearance, and the state of their teeth. We completely understand that you want this information, and since you will need a date of birth for insurance, so we will do our best. But it is generally only going to be an educated guess from our vets.

Could you be my forever human?

Thank you so much for reading my profile.

If you think you might be able to offer me my forever home, please fill out the adoption form and one of the Catitude Rescue team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Lots of love and snuggles,

Tinkerbell
